Wild Flowers

19. I used to be all these things under the sun but I don't know what I want, where I am or what my purpose of living is anymore. Not in the depressing way just in the way of nothing and not knowing which direction I want to open my life to. It seems everything I have been taught is just a different variation of the same generic thing inside of the box. I'm on a journey of self-discovery, finding my roots and putting the pieces together. I have decided to step outside the box and am excited to see what life really has to offer me and vice versa. I am nameless, this blog is for myself and expanding my mind but if you have read this far you're most welcome to follow along with me and open my eyes to new thoughts through the paintings within your mind.

“An anthropologist proposed a game to children in an African tribe. He put a basket full of fruit near a tree and told the children that whoever got there first won the sweet fruits. When he told them to run, they all took each others hands and ran together, then sat together enjoying their treats. When he asked them why they had run like that when one could have had all the fruits for himself, they said, ‘UBUNTU, how can one of us be happy if all the other ones are sad?’ (‘UBUNTU’ in the Xhosa culture means: ‘I am because we are.)”
